Event Description

The Daguerreian Society is offering a new series of weekly online lectures, on Zoom, that span the history, artistry, and technology of the daguerreotype and other 19th century photographs. We already have an impressive slate of talks by renowned experts, collection tours, and other topics as they develop. 


Upcoming presentations in Saturdays at 1:30 EST include:


August 1st The Daguerreotype and the 1851 Great Exhibition, with Anthony Hamber


August 8th, Spirit photography, with Bill Becker


August 15th, Civil War, with Jeff Rosenheim


Admission to each presentation $25 and a video version is available to those that sign up a few days after the session.
