Although the main focus of this 1-day course is the identification of the most common negative processes and finishing techniques of the 19th & 20th Century, general preservation policy surrounding negative collections will also be discussed. The processes will be covered in theory, and during practical sessions in which participants will examine examples of various negative processes in the Fotorestauratie Atelier’s study collection.
