Jack Cardiff was born in Great Yarmouth in 1914. A blue plaque will be unveiled on the site of his birth place on Sunday 8th June 2014. Also a number of events are being staged at Great Yarmouth in celebration of the life and work of legendary cinematographer Jack Cardiff. There will be an exhibition of artefacts including his photographs and paintings, plus screenings of some of his films at the St George's Theatre, Great Yarmouth from 6th until the 15th June 2014. This is just a part of the Great Yarmouth Arts Festival. For further details take a look at:-
