Event Description

The guest speaker for the Scottish Society for the History of Photography's annual Annan Lecture 2015 is Anne McNeill.

Glasgow born Anne McNeill has been the Director of Impressions Gallery since 2000, a public funded charity ‘that helps people understand the world through photography’. Join us to hear Anne discuss her fascinating career which ranges from photographer, curator, commissioning agent, writer, editor and panellist for international photographic prizes such as Prix Pictet.

SSHoP Annan Lecture series was instituted in 2006. They are given each spring at The Mitchell Library in Glasgow and deal with aspects of the history of Scottish photography.
