In 1897, photographers captured a snap shot of late Victorian society in scenes of crowds celebrating in the streets. It was as though the whole world had come to London. This workshop is designed to develop participants understanding and confidence when photographing on the street in 2012, through a mixture of presentations and practical sessions which will include the group photographing in and around Kensington Gardens, Kensington High Street and Notting Hill. Participants will be accompanied by the course leader who will advise on any technical and practical issues whilst out shooting.
Paul Baldesare has been a photographer for 25 years and his work has been regularly published, collected and exhibited in this country and abroad.
This event includes light refreshments and entry to Kensington Palace.
The workshop is for those with some experience of digital photography techniques. Participants must bring their own digital camera and have a good basic understanding of how to use it.
