I recently acquired this oddity on an auction site. It is made of metal and has Made in England on the base of the card holder but nothing else to identify it's orgins. Anyone have any information for me? Seller thought it was early 1900's. Have had a quick look at Paul Wing's "Stereoscopes:The First One Hundred Years" but not really seeing a match. Thank you all.
