Jacques Lemare

With the recent 75th VE day interest a friend sent me a copy of this photo of her mother in the WRNS. It is taken by a French photographer Jacques Lemare, probably in London during WW2. It appears to be a B/W print that is hand coloured. Wikipedia states he has a career as a film cinematographer, and then later in TV. In 1938 he did  a film with Henri Cartier Bresson. His life was 1912 to 1988, and his career was 1937 to 1967. Any other information would be welcome. From 1939 to 1945 he worked on one film, in 1941 in France. Perhaps he was doing studio portraits based mostly in London during the war.
