Kodak Archive

Hello, could anyone point me in the right direction please?  I have acquired a pair of glass colour plates taken from a theatre production that the Kodak Players staged.  I also have a photo album that features many pictures from their various stage productions and original programmes.

I have no idea what their value is or if any museum would be interested.  Thank you.

  • Thank you for that, I believe the Kodak Players did do some 'light' operatic productions so I will contact the British Library tomorrow. Sue.

The Kodak Archive is now at the British Library and I know that it does contain some photographs of Kodak Players productions.

However, I have searched the on-line catalogue but there are no listed items relating to the Kodak Players.

There is a reference to photographs of Operatic Society productions.

  • Thank you for that, I will investigate your suggestions to see if there is any interest.  Kind regards, Sue.

  • There are a couple of obvious possibilities:Headstone Manor and Harrow Museum has material relating to Kodak Ltd and as the Players' material will largely be about local people this would perhaps be the best option. There are also Kodak Ltd archives held at the National Media Museum, Bradford, and British Library.
