British photographic history

Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history

Dear colleagues,

I'm looking for information about an amateur photographer from Sydenham Hill, London named Lazenby (Miss. G.C.), active about 1905–20. I believe she was a daughter of the wealthy manufacturer Walter Lazenby and his wife Charlotte Lazenby. Any information would be appreciated.

With thanks,

Katie

Hi Katie,

I was interested to see your enquiry as I live in SE London near Sydenham Hill. Local historian Steve Grindlay would be a good person to ask, as he is so knowledgeable on local history and has historic photographs connected to the area. He can probably be contacted through the Sydenham Society if you aren't already in contact.

Best wishes,

Helen

Hi Helen,

With best wishes,
