Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history

The membership could be moderated ie approved by the moderator and, if that is what members want, then it can be put in place. There have been three or four of these spamming attempts over the year and while it is irritating I am slightly reluctant to tighten membership. I'd like the blog to be as open as possible.
In each case once I become aware of the spam I ban the member which also removes all their postings.
It's annoying but there's not a great deal that can be done if someone is determined. That said, after a year of being up and running I am going to take a wider look at the blog and see how it might be enhanced which will include some greater protection for members.
