NAZI PHOTOS HELP NEEDED

I am currently researching a folio of sixteen World War Two photographic prints, taken by Nazi photographers which were confiscated by British Intelligence Corp officers during the denazification of British occupied Germany - in Dortmund - in 1946. The most interesting picture is of Nazi officials excavating a mass grave in Katyn forest, Poland.

I am about to hand these over to the Institute of National Remembrance in Warsaw and I am writing up the process as part of my MA in History of Photography at Birkbeck, University of London. I still however had not managed to fully flesh out the caption information which is very minimal, including the identity of some senior looking Nazi officers.

If you have any information or interest in the pictures, or indeed any suggestions of who I could contact to help me get more information about them, please do get in touch.

Kind regards,

Francesca McKenna
