Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history
Hi everyone
I have just created a Wikispace which contains an A - Z listing of nineteenth-century Pacific photographers with short bios, location of photographic holdings etc.The original list was created as a part of my Masters thesis but the online version can be found at http://tinyurl.com/3mlp94v
Anyone interested in updating or research into this area of photography please feel free to join or pass the link on to others who may be interested in adding or updating information on the list.
All the best Geoff.

Yes I had a bit of a trawl through this and I thought it was a nice publication - interestingly there is an image in here (Apia and wharf I think from memory) credited in the neg to Burton Brother while there is an exact duplicate in the Powerhouse Museum of the same image credited in the neg to Charles Kerry - perhaps makes a case that they may have been in fact purchased from a local Samoan Studio?
