Hi, I am a visual anthropology phd candidate from Canterbury University New Zealand. I am currently researching the Indentured Labour photographic archives in the National Archives of Mauritius. These archives contain at least 170,000. photographic portraits of indentured labourers who arrived in Mauritius from 1865 - 1914, from India, China and East Africa. I am travelling to London for the Anthropology and Photography Conference at the British Museum In May. I am wanting to meet with anyone who specialises in this period of photography and in particular Albumin photographic processes. Could anyone recommend someone in London who specialises in this field? Many Thanks. Kathy Harrington-Watt
