What is a "Victoria"?

This may be a naive question, but I've been unable to find an answer elsewhere online. Could someone please enlighten me about what a "Victoria" is? I assume from this 1872 ad in an American business directory that it is a type of cabinet card, but I would appreciate having a more specific definition.

  • Thank you. I was guessing that it was some variation on a cabinet card, but this specific definition is much better.

The Cyclopedia of Photography of 1912 gives it as a portrait mount measuring 5 x 3 1/4 inches.
