We believe this photograph to be of my 4th Great Grandfather, John Walton, a Gingerbread Baker in 1855 when he was 50 years old. Jayne Shrimpton kindly reviewed the fashion and style and concurred with the approximate dates. This photograph is with a large family collection. This man was the father of Frank Walton the Leeds Photographer.
