C. L.: Roman Forum.

Paper negative, 9 x 12-1/2 in. (229 x 318 mm), 1854c/1854c, unmounted. Initials 'C.L.' and the number '' written on negative. Charles Lallemand was known to travel to extensively to various locations during this period. Also C.-L. Leblanc exhibited paper negatives. The BN's Sylvie Aubenas attributes a similar group with the same monogram to a Capitaine Louvel. A later group of 114 of these came up in an auction at Leclere in May 2011.
