I've checked with a couple others and we seem to agree that this in NOT a Canadian scene although Edis did travel across Canada. The "West Coast" is sitting by the Rockie Mountains and this vista shows no signs of such ruggedness nor the propensity for forests of Pine or Fur trees, and the water seems too calm. My ESP feelings say it would be more likely a UK location - worn sloping hills, what flowers are in the foreground? That landing pier of stone (Canada had lots of free wood), is there a fisherman down on that rock in the middle? Does the sun direction offer any clues? The search goes on!
