This is an 1898 photograph of the Office Bearers of the Falkirk Amateur Photographic Association. It was photographed by Thomas Greig, a member of the group and also a professional photographer with a studio in the town at that time. Most of the individuals cannot be identified, but we do know that the gentleman, back row third from the left, is Thomas Dougall Chalmers, 1863 - 1940, a prolific photographer in Stirlingshire at that time. The President of the group at that time was George Sherriff who was not able to attend for this group photograph.
