Thanks for the message Colin, sounds like a very interesting project.
I too have revisited the locations of some of Smith's photographs and attempted my own versions of them. Some of these are detailed on my website at http://the-golden-fleece.co.uk/wp/powerscourt-revisited/. The site also contains a lot of information on Smith and his wife, Olive Cook, as you may already have seen.
I have an extensive collection of Smith's books but regrettably not the Edinburgh one. Must get hold of a copy.
I would be keen to include some news of your project on my website and also publicise the exhibition when it comes to fruition. If you can let me have some background and progress information I will include it.
