Photographs of 19th century lawyers / Angelo Lewis

I am researching the life of Angelo Lewis who, before be became a full-time author, was at the Bar from about 1861 to about 1876.  Photographs exist of Lewis in later life, but I am trying to find one when he was a practising lawyer. His Inn of Court does not have any such photographs.Could anyone suggest a resource that I could try?See More

"Thank you very much for this. The material is very interesting. The place name is "Worthing", which is on the South Coast of England. George Fielder is a known employee of the Russell family. It is a pity that the article does not make…"

"From what I can determine James is the father and John is one of the sons, thus Russell and Sons will provide some information. This extract from 1879, Pritchard's Studios of Europe is about Russell and Sons in Worthington, a short hop from…"

"Hello Dick Thank you for this. Lord John Russell was a different person, who was a British prime minister. John Lemmon Russell, who was not a prime minister,  did have a photographic studio in Tuffnel Park North London. He took a lot of…"

"There are 5 references to a John Russell within 6 words of "Tuffnel." Note that there is twop "f's here and one in the rps fellowship registry. It is however on journal I do not have"

John Lemmon Russell is a distant relative of mine and  I am researching his life and career. I have been told by a very knowledgeable researcher that something purporting to be JL Lemmon's personal photograph album was sold on ebay (I don't know exactly when).I was wondering if anyone in the group knew of the whereabouts of any personal photographs of JL or of his family (including of course his father James Russell).RegardsPeterSee More
