Some years ago I bought a this little badge as an interesting item of photographic history. I'm posting the picture here to see what comments fellow members of this forum might make. There are many interesting details about a number of the conventions on the Edinburgh photo website including the 1892 Convention in Edinburgh.
This site shows a similar pin (but with all red enamelling)
