Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history
Two post-doctoral Research Fellow positions are available at De Montfort University, Leicester, to work on the AHRC funded FuzzyPhoto project that is developing and testing computer-based “finding aids” for recommending potential matches between historical photographic exhibition catalogue records and images of photographs that appear in online collections. One will have a knowledge of the Semantic Web, metadata schemas and Web site development, the other will be responsible for investigating and trialling modern database engines and management systems.
