Experienced photographer Richard Batterley will discuss the history of photography and showcase a collection of vintage cameras and photographs. Following his popular visit to Hornsby Library last year, Richard will look at the origins of photography as we know it today and show and discuss photographs taken over the last 110 years.
What is perhaps unusual about this presentation is that he will not be showing pictures of the cameras, but showing actual vintage cameras. Richard has cameras from every decade from 1900 to present.
