Contemporary Scottish artist Calum Colvin (OBE RSA) will be creating a portrait of Scottish-American industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie to commemorate the centenary of his death. Colvin is known for constructing three-dimensional trompe-l'oeil installations which he then photographs to produce the final artwork.
Visitors are invited to come and watch him work and see the image taking shape as well as to cast their vote on what museum artefact should be included in the picture.
