Event Description

Collecting Stereos: Highlights from Dr. Brian May's collection :
There are as many ways of collecting photographs as there are collectors. Some collect only big names from the photographic world, others go for specific processes, and a lot more for particular and sometimes very specialised subject matters.

Dr. Brian May's extensive collection would appeal to any of the above individuals as it is all inclusive and offers enough material for dozens of books and articles.

Discover a few of those stereoscopic gems with photo historian Denis Pellerin, curator of Dr. May's collection who will be presenting his talk at our regular monthly meeting of The Stereoscopic Society.

Coventry - Saturday 5th October 2019 at 2:30pm.

The meeting is until 5pm with Denis' 3D talk being the first half of the meeting and after the refreshment break a collection of international award winning 3D AV and 3D Video shows will be projected.
3D Glasses will be provided.

Visitors are very welcome, (first time Visitors are free, normal entry £3 including refreshments).
Ample parking behind the church and on the residential streets, or a steady 25 minute walk from Coventry railway station.
