Elliott and fry who is the sitter?

 Hi, Does anybody know if there are still records for elliott and fry photograph?.

I have a photo with reference number on the reverse,I would like to know who the sitter was?,

         228137 B  is written also the date 1911 and the sitters age 84.

           many thanks if anyone has some idea.

As Ron Cosens commented here in 2011, copyright was almost certainly reserved for portraits of celebrities.

If you feel lucky, you could try dragging the picture into a Google image search or sharing it with us in the hope that someone will recognize the sitter.
