For the rapid production of postcards, especially of newsworthy events, several cameras were made in the now defunct 'postcard' format. The negative could then be contact printed onto photographic paper with a pre-printed postcard printed backing. One such camera was manufactured in the range of Soho Reflex models. I own one of these but have adapted it to use modern film.
I will be giving a talk on Zoom at 7pm on Thursday 9th Feb for the British Thematic Association. That might raise issues that trigger further discussion. If you would like to login as a guest please let me have your email address and that can easily be arranged.. You can contact me at: : gblackwell@fastmail.fm
Potentially a very diverse area which crosses a range of my interests and I have a few items of interest to share. One of the photographic facebook groups dealing with historic images has addressed this area previously a couple of years ago and turned up some interesting material.
