Dear Sebastian,
According to Marianna, in the comments below, you did some important discoveries on the photographs of Antonio Beato? I would be interested on hearing what you found out, if you don't mind, as I am doing a dissertation on him for my final year of studies and I am in need of some help.
I would be very grateful if you accepted to help and to possibly exchange on this privately.
Sincerely,
Carolina
Hi Sebastian. Will gladly hold a brochure for you. See you soon. S.
Hi Sebastian. Hope to see you at the London Photo Fair! Best regards, Steven
hello sebastian, im scanning the set for terry so i can copy you on them if youre interested.my email is jackbwoody@earthlink.net
my name is Marianna and I am an Italian researcher. Lately, I am making researches on a photographer of Italian origins called Antonio Beato. Mr Ken Jacobson told me that you made some important discoveries on the 19th century photografher. For this reason, I would like to make you some important questions on him. Would you be, than, so kind of giving me your private contacts so that I could better explain you the subject of my enquiry? If you will accept this, I will be very grateful.
With all my confidence and respect,
kind regards
Marianna
I am very pleased to have made contact with you. I should have contacted you earlier as we do share a common interest in the activities of photographers in China. You probably have had some recent discussions with Terry B.
At the moment I am heavily involved in the final stage of an exhibition on an engineer-photographer who was assistant to Benjamin Baker the designer of the Forth Rail Bridge.
As soon as this is over I will be returning to matters Chinese.
