Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history

The RHS will be holding a small exhibition later in the year featuring autochromes and I wonder if any-one has a period diascope we can borrow for display in secure case in an invigilated space?

Hi there, I work at the NPG and I know we have some of the Diascopes that belonged to Olive Edis. Incidentally I am working on a reconstruction of the Autochrome process so I know quite a bit about them!

Very Best,

Peter Norman

Hi Peter,

Thanks very much for the reply - can I contact you off post about this? my email is sarahmcdonald@rhs.org.uk

I'd like to know who to approach for a formal loan request and also to chat generally about the subject. I do have good general knowledge of the topic from my previous role as curator of Hulton Archive (Getty Images).

Very best, Sarah
