Following on from the discussion of Shakleston's stamps, may I recommend the book 'South With Endurance, Shakleston's Antarctic Expedition 1914-1917, The Photographs of Frank Hurley' compiled and authored by Gael Newton (in Oz) and Michael Gray (UK) plus Joanna Wright and Shane Murphy, Allen & Unwin, Australia, 2014. If there is a niggle, it is that it lacks an index. The plus side of that is that it makes you read the whole book - a worthwhile experience.
