Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history
We have a photograph in our archive that shows a view of the Egyptian Sculpture gallery. It is signed by the photographer. I think it reads "CF Hogkins 1920". Does anyone know anything about this photographer? See attached photo.Egyptian%20gallery.jpg

I tried searching for a variety of interpretations and the best I came up with was "Hoghin." This is known family name and one if you google it was associated with witchcraft trials in the UK and the US. I am also guessing the first name initial could be "L" and not a "C."
