    my experience is that Kodak labelled their films in at least two ways: second by the format type or number and first by the camera they were intended. This lettering could fit both, i.e. type/number 116 and camera Folding Pocket Kodak (FPK) 1A. Number eight is the amount of frames.

  • Hi, Geoff. I can't help with the typographic design but the wooden core was replaced by metal c1931 (thanks to Rochester NY friends).
