I wonder if anybody knows anything about a Adolphus Pepper (b. abt 1836 in Westminster). I believe he was a brother of John Henry Pepper  ('Pepper Ghost').

I have found a mention of him as 'the Official French government photographer' and a vintage print on albumen paper mounted on blue card - 'Gallery Zoology Museum of natural history, birds, Paris, 1889'. This has the address - 13 Avenue Victor Hugo. There is also an address of his studio at 60 Avenue De Neuilly.

He may have married a Lucile Lassale and/or a Marie Pauline Joseph Lassale?

Any assistance welcome
