Dear all,
I'm currently looking at the prospect of initiating a digital humanities initiative on the subject of accessing digital photograph collections. Can anyone point me towards similar such work which is innovative and already taking place? I'm aware of (and involved with!) the good work being done at DeMontfort Uni.
The project we are looking at will be based on the premise of looking at the materiality and characteristics of digital photographs rather than working with accompanying descriptive metadata.
