Hi everyone,
I have been researching a firework maker and display artist in Wisbech in the 1800s. William Griggs made several large static firework designs for the 1887 Jubilee celebrations. There are rumours that there was a photograph album of the celebrations possibly also including some of the fireworks. It was lent to the Wisbech &Fenland Museum many years ago and the owner's son though it had been deposited with the East Anglian Film Archive. However, they do not take photos just film.
Has anyone seen any collections of firework photos of Wisbech or Cambridgeshire on their travels? Any and all information welcome.
