Hello everyone,

I am interested in sourcing a photograph of my great great grandfather, Harry Hardy, who was the first bandmaster of the Royal Irish Constabulary Band (RIC Band) in Dublin from 1861 - 1872.

Myself and my wife managed to find Harry’s unmarked grave in Mount Jerome cemetery, Dublin about thirteen years ago but to date we have not succeeded in finding a photograph of him.

The RIC band was very popular from 1861 - 1872 and they were actively performing on a regular basis in Dublin and throughout Ireland.

We would be extremely grateful if anyone could suggest any possible avenues that we could explore in this regard.

Many thanks.

David Hardy.
