Floracolour slide collection donation

I am posting this on behalf of Carole Lyon.

She has a large collection of slides taken by her father Hugh Shaw, who set up his Floracolour photographic business in the mid 20th century.  The slides consist of images of gardens and houses in the UK and Europe, including several National Trust gardens (Nymans, Sissinghurst, Haddon Hall and others), Kew, Syon, Windsor Castle and many others.  There are many plant portraits, particularly of roses. There is also a large collection of slides taken in Italy.  Most of the collection dates from 1960-2000.

Carole Lyon would like to donate the collection to any interested parties, and is happy to split it up.  If you would like to know more, or arrange a visit to view the collection, please contact Carole at foxhollow91@hotmail.co.uk. She asks that emails are titled 'Floracolour'.
