I am sad to report that Michael Jacobs (Greggorio) died in Italy in his sleep two days ago. He was a dear friend, a frequent poster on here and true photographic enthusiast. His wife Dani has asked me to pass this on to Michael's English speaking friends. Rest in peace Mike!

I am so sorry to hear that. We've been in intermittent correspondence on different photohistory matters for many years. He was always very help and forthcoming with information and constructive comment.
