I refer to the book Views of British North Borneo, with a Brief history of the Colony published in 1899. Some of the photographs were taken by G W Johnstone, who was also a medical officer in the employment of the Chartered Company. However, many of the illustrations in the book had the imprint of Pullan Shipton & Co. A search of the internet came up with a half-tone copper etching of a lady published in the Graphic magazine. PS & Co. was listed at 12 Ludgate Square, London EC. I would appreciate if anyone has any other details or references for this engraving company. Thank you, PK Lim
