Thanks, Carlo. I, too, am convinced it is not Guiseppe (sic) Garibaldi. I live in Italy and collect photos of the Risorgimento. But I would like to know who this man was. And who the photographer was. Z. Bioni is - in my opinion - a phoney! These were period fakes made in England, but who was the photographer?
