      Dear Pete, There are several subject upon which it would be a good idea to discuss with you. Ranging from Priestley to Sherrington/JMuir Wood & Barry. I see that you will be giving a presentation on Birmingham Police's use of photography. With reference this use of photography for surveillance purposes there is a rather interesting daybook/journal in Wiltshire Records Office which has printed record sheets with attached albumen prints (headshots) of approximately 20 individuals prosecuted and deported for minor offences ( ie stealing potatoes from a a field etc.,) Taken in a local photographic studio with somewhat incongruous backgrounds.

      I seem to have lost your contact details since you left Birmingham Library.
