Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history
Hi , I am going to Chalon Sur Saone later this week and will go to the museum at 28 Quai des Messageries, but I understand there is also another Nicéphore Niépce location that one should visit. However my search on Google has drawn a blank. Can anybody help with a URl or a name/location.
Thanks
Roger Mead

There is the museum which you have identified, the other is Niepce's house see: http://www.photography-museums.com/pagus/pagus-house.html
Michael, thanks for this information. The house closes on the day we arrive in that area so I guess I might have to put my foot down on the autoroute!

Yes - it will be worth it - if only to pay homage.
