Information and discussion on all aspects of British photographic history
I am seeking information about stereo views sold by Henneman & Co that have Patent Talbotype
wet stamps on the verso. I have three in my collection, all taken in Paris; one has the shield shaped
stamp with Henneman's 122 Regent Street address, the other two have the round stamp that says
"Patent Talbotype or Sun Pictures". One also has a blindstamp that says "Super Mounts London".
I have seen these in other collections but they are all only of photographs taken in Paris. Did Henneman
take these or acquire them from another photographer?
