Does any member of this forum have any knowledge of an Ernest Estcourt 1842-1911. In 1892 he patented “Improvements in Means for Changing Films and Plates in Photographic Cameras.” Was this patent taken up by any manufacturer?

William Peach Robinson

Does anyone know of a photograph by William Peach Robinson of Leslie's painting of "Juliet and the Poison Bottle" (a scene from Shakespeare).   I believe the photo was exhibited in London in 1856 or 1857.

Heliography

Does anyone know if anyone other than Niepce created photographic Heliographs? How many are there out there other than the 1826 'first photograph' ? I have only seen examples of etching reproductions.

Dr William Delano Walker
