Not a UK institution, but the Sir George Grey Special Collections at Auckland Central Library (NZ) hold a large collection of bromoils by Herman Schmidt (1872-1959).
The RPS collection which was in Bradford & now at the V+A (is not yet open to the public) they have I understand 140 of John St Aubyn prints. They are not listed and were only discovered a few years ago after my inquiry.
There are about 15 prints in Birmingham City Library Archive but I believe this Photographic collection is now permanently closed.
So the only prints you could see at present are the 30 I own.
The Camera Club in London have a small collection of his prints, they are framed I believe.
I have been collecting & recording the Bromoil and other images work of John Grenville St Aubyn FRPS for some years. See my web site www.jokphotography.co.uk for a page of some of his images.
I have 30 of his original Bromoil prints & know of the whereabouts of about 175 others in private & public collections. John had over 200 prints accepted in the London Salon during his lifetime and I don't think this number has been surpassed.
I have many personal photographic items of John's, although I never knew him.
