Beirut and Beyond: A Photographers' Perspective

Talk, followed by wine reception and private view of the exhibition of photographs -  Cairo to Constantinople - taken by Francis Bedford in 1862 during a tour of the Middle East with the Prince of Wales.

A talk by Norman McBeath about the way his experience of living in the Middle East influenced his development as a photographer with reference to the 1862 Middle East Tour made by the Prince of Wales and the work of the photographer Francis Bedford.
