This one-day conference at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, will present new research on the pioneering photographer Julia Margaret Cameron's social, religious, colonial and artistic contexts.
International speakers will explore themes such as Cameron’s experimental techniques and exchanges with other artists and her lasting impact and relevance for contemporary practitioners.
