  • James, the newsletter, as I said, is ALMOST finished, although now, since I am having trouble extracting information from GEH, which did very well on its auction, that article may have to go into the next newsletter in a week or two.  I make no assumptions if the wedding people have seen any material here.  I'm merely a conduit for the request.  :-)
  • The first piece you mention, about Eastman House, doesn't seem to be there.

On the wedding photography piece, I assume that she has seen http://britishphotohistory.ning.com/forum/topics/wedding-photography ?  Not that I think that has any mention of images as early as 1848.  I'd be fascinated to see here image.

    Regards, James

  • My pleasure, Michael.  I've also added the site to our Photo Links page.  And thanks much for your kind comment.

    Best,

    Alex

  • Although the E-Photo Newsletter has a broader remit than BPH it is always an interesting read. As the October 12th issue makes reference to BPH (thank you Alex!) I am happy to reciprocate on this occasion.
