London's Cinema Museum occupies a NHS-owned building, the former Lambeth workhouse in Kennington - which housed the child Charlie Chaplin. The premises are now under threat and a petition has been launched to ensure that this important museum, archive and collection can remain in such an important and relevant building. It is important not simply for London, but for Britain and international film history.
