Hi Welcome to the British photohistory! :) to answer your question, you can post a discussion and create your own in the forum tab: go to my discussion, write it and it will then appear on the forum and members of the blog can see it and reply (might take time tho) or alternatively you can explore in search or blogs or chat etc to look out at posts with photographs of your subject or the 'blogger' with similar research interests and ask them direclty.
